You can see humble architecture of workers' neighborhoods mixed with the imposing buildings of new ministries that are seen at the end of Raimundo Fernández Villaverde street. On the other hand, the neighborhood is delimited by important structures such as the Santiago Bernabeu stadium or the Defense Ministry, the famous Picasso Tower or the BBVA tower. The heart of the neighborhood is the roundabout. The street of Bravo Murillo (where most of the small and old houses, some ruinous, are located) crosses the roundabout from north to south, the Avenida Reina Victoria to the west and Raimundo Fernández Villaverde to the east. The General Perón Avenue is bordered by small green areas. The neighborhood alternates homes with hotels, bars and restaurants, as well as a large shopping center at its southeastern end. It is very lively when there is a football match at the Madrid Bernabeu stadium, located on the other side of the Paseo de la Castellana.
