We have a separate, pleasant room with very comfortable and large bed for one girl - no smoker - for 2 nights. We accept reservations a week (7-8 days) in advance. We are friendly people, English and Italian-speaking. I`m happy to give you my support and the advice as I work as a city guide in Cracow and Poland and organize tours so I can help you in arranging sightseeing of the city and surroundings. Our apartment is located in the heart of historic district Nowa Huta. Right next to apartment are direct bus & trams to the center of Krakow/ central train station (25 min.) The best is to take direct tram No.4. There`s a stop of fast bus 501 next our door. Around our housing block is quite a lot of parking spaces. -------------------------- Nowa Huta was built shortly after the World War II for 200.000 Polish steel workers in the Socialist-Realist style as a model socialist town. The authorities built, what was at the time, the biggest steel works in the World and created a model communist town and society to support it. The best Polish architects planned the city and it was built to the preferred communist Renaissance model with a rigid geometry and a sunburst pattern where streets radiated in perfect straight lines and through symmetrical angles from a central square at the hub of the town. Our block of flats is located at the Rose Avenue on a tourist route. It`s close to the Central Square (Plac Centralny). Interesting historical monuments here are: Steelworks Administrative Centre, The Church “Lord’s Ark “, Nowa Huta Cross....
