In the third quarter (Q3) of 2024, the average room price increased by 7.2% compared to last year, while supply decreased by 5.2%.

23 May 2024 - The latest Kamernet Rent Report for the first quarter of 2024 highlights a rising trend in the prices of rooms and apartments advertised on Kamernet, one of the largest housing platforms in the Netherlands. Room prices increased by 5.1% year-on-year (YoY) in the first quarter of 2024, while apartment prices rose by 1.9%.
April 9th 2024 – The International Rent Index by City by HousingAnywhere reveals that rent price increases are losing momentum for yet another quarter. After seven quarters of decelerating price increases, the Index recorded a 3.8% year-on-year (YoY) increase in the first quarter of 2024. In cities like Cologne, the gap is pronounced, with a difference rate of 47.1% in relative terms and an absolute discrepancy of €477, while in Rotterdam, ranking lowest, the discrepancy stands at 3.1%, and €47.
