I live with my almost 4 year old daughter and our two cats. We have been hosting for 10 years and love meeting people from different nationalities. I lived in Spain and taught English for a year some time ago however I speak Spanish and currently volunteer in substance misuse services and am social work trained. I also run my own single parent group. We like going to local parks, museums, swimming, theatre and cinema as well as walking and spending quality time at home sharing good times and lots of laughs with friends. We are a Christian family and accept and respect a diversity of backgrounds, well traveled, we have made friends with people from all over the world. Guests are welcome to join us to church or other activities. We attend a lively church in Manchester that attracts young people and has their own band! Rooms have all facilities including the essential Wifi connection and travel connections are good. We are very close to the Trafford Centre shopping mall and entertainment centre and to the Chill Factor (man made ski slope) and Sea world (aquarium hosting range of sea life species). We are conveniently situated in the leafy suburb of Urmston about 8 miles from Manchester city centre with regular frequent express bus service taking 28 minutes or train from Urmston around 10 minutes.
